The Adult or Multifit SAM splint is the original and most frequently used SAM splint The SAM splint is suitable for the immobilisation of ARM and Leg fractures (uses 2 splints for full leg immobilisation) as well as improvised Cervical Collar.

The SAM splint can be adapted to many situations by shaping the splint to the patients need.

The splints is waterproof, flexible and lightweight and is ideal for  use in Emergency Departments, Sports, Outdoors, First Aid, Industrial and Military applications

• Junior SAM splint : 4.25” x 18”; 2.4oz; flat-fold

Also called the Paediatric SAM splint, it is half the length of the original Adult SAM splint, this splint is ideally suitable for smaller patients as well can be used with out resizing for Arm injuries.


• Wrist SAM Splint: 4.25” x 9”; 1.1oz; flat

The Wrist or Armboard SAM splint is ideal for immobilising a hand that has been injured or is ideally suited for immobilisation of an IV, especially when the IV has been located over a joint.  The armboard SAM splint is ultra small, lightweight and flexible and like all SAM splints is not able to absorb liquids.
